The centers provide a meal to seniors 60 and over, and their spouse regardless of age, are welcome at the centers. You will have the opportunity for social interaction, a hot nutritious lunch and various activities. FREE public transportation is provided from your door to the senior center and back to your door.
To participate in the lunch program, you must call to make a reservation at either one of the senior centers you would like to attend. You can make a reservation the day before by 2:00 p.m. or the morning of the meal by 10:00 a.m.
The average cost of a meal is $5.96. A suggested donation of $2.00 is encouraged, but not required if you cannot afford it. Any checks can be made out to Crosskeys Human Services, Inc. This money goes back to the Area Agency of Aging to help with the purchase of food and supplies.
This program is funded by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
Some activities we provide at both centers: Wii bowling, bingo, cards, exercise, speakers, health screenings, blood pressures, Flu Shots yearly and Farmers Market Vouchers during summer months.
